My 7yo girl is a lot smarter now than I'll ever be, and my 5 yo son is catching up quickly! lol Maybe I'll run into you at TRF or Scarborough one of these years! My best to you and your family. :-) Michelle

Monette (e_mc2 at PS) - 04/05/00 19:49:08
As usual, you impress me. I love all the updates since my last viewing of your site, but I see you've neglected to get to the updating of my favorite part of your site - Musings. Get on the ball, Jo!!! You might like my favorite artist, Sulamith Wulfin . You've got to check out her work at www.paperpeddler.com. I recently got a letter from The Paper Peddler (a store in CA) saying that someone else is now selling Sulamith Wulfing artwork, so I'm not sure that site is still valid. -- Good job, Jo!
Kathy Hall - 04/03/00 14:11:19

Hi, again, I cannot locate an email address anywhere on your site so I have returned to your guest book. I commented before about your obvious honesty in your writing. As I continued to view, came accross the section "about me". This one line there again shows your eaders what a fantastic human being you are. I have seen your pictures, Texas white beauty, yet ever learning, in this case from a black publication, "Ebony". From which you relate a line you found to be of important intrest, FANTASTIC of you. If you wer running for president instead of Bush, I would vote for you, the type of person all politicans should be. With respect, Jack She was a woman, an editor, I think of Ebony magazine.
Jack - 03/02/00 21:03:02
Having read, "Jade", "Autumn" and "without end", I find your honesty lies in the "Musing" works. It is total in this last line in, "Age before beauty". "And most importantly, I have learned that you can never underestimate the value of a really good pai of control top hose and a push-up bra." Now that is honesty, enjoyed your thoughts, please continue. Bookmarked, shall return and please do drop by my site at your convience, any critique welcomed. With respect, Jack

Nice website, I don't know how did I land on your site, somehow it is great. Your family pic's are nice.Enjoyed surfing your site, great design, please visit our church website and be blessed. Mark 16:15 He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation."
"Watch and pray, therefore, that you would be counted worthy to escape the
judgment that is coming upon the earth and be able to stand before the Son of Man"
(Luke 21:36). Maranatha!

Nice homepage. Poems are fun to read. Keep up the good work.
Willowtree - 09/18/99 03:42:20
Well! You, your husband and children are beautiful. I don't know why, but I always pictured you as a plump teenage Mom full of wisdom beyond her years. God, knows where I get these images. I actually imagine everyone as being plump because I am rake (read unhealthy) thin. I enjoy your contributions to HT immensely and am glad that you trusted us with your website. BTW, my island is celebrating "Celtic Colours" in October and I will send you some web info if you're interested.
newman (again) - 09/16/99 17:21:28
Saw your picture on Milli's Cyberbuds page and was hoping you were into Renaissance Faires or theater and were in costume!
newman65 - 09/16/99 16:04:48
Never know what to put here. I'd put a URL but I'm a non-techie in a techie world. We actually have a 640K dos PC at home! Working on it in all my free time (about 10 mins a week). Also putting my Educational training to good use. Maybe in my next life as we decided we'd like to eat in this one and 2 teacher's salaries ain't gonna cut it. The girls are cuties! Tim
Monette - 09/16/99 15:18:38
Very, very nice job! The Words of Wisdom were very good - seemingly true - and very entertaining. Nice pics, attractive and happy-looking family. Thanks for sharing this page. Hope you continue to add to your Musings and W.O.W. page - haven't read poe ry yet. See ya in the soup!

Hello Jo: I was enthralled by your last name when I saw it on my wife's site at http://members.tripod.com/DESERT__ROSE_VNL/Ashes.html I noticed it was Gill. Is that your maiden name or married name? If maiden, are you, or do you know, if you are any relation to Dr. John Gill of England 1700's? Would like to know if you are. Virginia and I employ his writings on our Family Bible Association page a lot at: http://members.tripod.com/Fam_Bible_Assoc/index.html I think he was one of the GREATEST theologians who ever lived. Anyway, hope to hear from you. I liked what I saw of your site. Please visit me also. I am a member of the creative writers webring also. God bless and keep you and your family safe. Your children are lovely. Rev. Bob L'Aloge

Thanks for coming to my page the other day! I appreciate your comments and hope you'll take the time to read my novel someday soon. I'm trolling for all the feedback I can get! I appreciate your website as well. I'm a patron of the Faire as well, thou h I can't go as often as I like. I attend the one here in Georgia whenever I can. I made my own emerald green cloak to wear to it the first time I went and received many a complement. I was even confused for someone who worked there! Thanks once again TailKinker, fellow writer.

vivian - 06/29/99 02:13:11
Beautiful family! Don't you just love those curly-haired girls?! (I have one).
Steven Hernandez - 06/24/99 05:09:57
I really enjoyed that poem you wrote when you were 13, it has that innocence and simpleness that I actually aim at! To me, poetry must be a little between simply and moderately complex, but never complex. If it is an emotion or a pondering that one attemp s to place in words--well, those things always have innocence and simplicity (unless it is philosophical). Well, I'm going long... Thanks for signing my guestbook (if you check the URL above you'll understand what you missed : ) . I must also say that mos poets try to use repetition and it doesn't work well--yours does. And I also loved "Melody" and "Casting" (obviously I enjoy poetry that rhymes above others). Great page, I am yet to see everything other than your poetry.
CntryChk - 06/24/99 01:53:56
I came here via an award submission and I must say I absolutely love your page. The poetry, short stories and especially the Renaissance Pics. Your little girls are going to have such wonderful memories from all of this. Cntry
